On March 31, Italy’s data regulator temporarily banned ChatGPT over data security concerns. Similar decisions could follow across Europe, especially in France, Germany, and Ireland.

On December 1, the Wiesbaden Administrative Court in Germany issued an unprecedented decision stating that companies can’t use a cookie management provider that is relying on a service based in the United States to collect data. However, such a decision will not affect CookieScript and its customers.
