How to disable cookies on iPhone?

If you want to disable cookies on your iPhone, you have to change the settings of your browser app. Please read the guides on how to disable cookies on your iPhone in the Safari and Chrome apps. For other apps, go to Settings, find the Privacy or site data tab, select Cookies, and then check to disable cookies.

How to disable cookies on iPhone in the Safari app?

To disable cookies on iPhone in the Safari app, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to Settings, then scroll down and check Safari.
  2. Scroll down until you find Privacy & Security. 
    Select Privacy & Security
  3. Check the tab Block All Cookies (leave it green).
    Select Block All Cookies
  4. Tap the button Clear History and Website Data.
    Tap the button Clear History and Website Data.
  5. Restart Safari.

Done, you have disabled cookies on your iPhone in Safari.

If you are using iPad, you could disable cookies on your iPad in Safari in the same way as described above.

How to disable cookies on iPhone in the Chrome app?

To disable cookies on iPhone in the Chrome app, perform the following steps:

  1. On your iPhone, open the Chrome app.
  2. At the bottom right, tap More, marked as three dots, and then Settings.
  3. Tap Privacy, and then Clear Browsing Data.
  4. Tap Cookies, Site Data, and uncheck the cookies box.
  5. Select Clear Browsing Data, and then tap Clear Browsing Data.
  6. Tap Done.

Done, you have disabled cookies on your iPhone in Chrome.

If you use iPad, you could disable cookies on your iPad in the Chrome app in the same way as described above.
